Find a teacher. With current membership in the YTAA, you automatically have a one-line listing in the YTAA website under Find a Teacher. Anyone looking for a teacher can find you by your name, location or by the style of yoga you teach.

Yoga Today newsletter. You receive by mail or email your copy of the YTAA’s quarterly publication for professional yoga teachers. The newsletter includes feature articles, book reviews, practical tips and advice, regular columns, details on upcoming workshops, conferences and events, and an opportunity to share your experience with others.

Yoga classifieds. Watch the Yoga Classifieds on the YTAA website as they are updated for teaching opportunities to substitute, take a class or be part of a roster of yoga teachers at a particular location. The listings also include real estate opportunities to rent, share or participate in a yoga studio space. You also have the ability to add notices for substitute teachers, opportunities to teach with you or other job situations of interest to the YTAA membership. The Yoga Classifieds also include real estate opportunities to buy, rent or share space.

Calendar of events. Our website makes it easy to find programs that interest you and your students. Keep updated on upcoming events such as workshops, retreats and courses on our Calendar of Events. You can search for events by category, location and month. With the enhanced membership you have the capability of adding your upcoming courses, retreats or other programs to the webside calendar.

Email communications of events. You receive email notification of upcoming workshops and events.

Use of the YTAA logos. You can use the YTAA recognition logo below as an individual member in good standing to help promote your business, subject to guidelines for the use of the logo.

Representation as a professional industry. The Yoga Teachers Association of Australia promotes yoga and teaching yoga at the highest level. We send representatives to appropriate forums including government and private sector to represent yoga teaching as a profession.

Opportunities to meet other yoga teachers. You are invited to attend our general meetings, which often include special presentations by guest presenters, general business and an open forum for discussion, questions and answers.

Potential students wishing to become yoga teachers want to know that the teacher training course they choose is of a high standard and that on graduation, they will meet the requirements for YTAA membership. Find A School: The YTAA website promotes registered teacher training courses. We’ve made it easy for potential teacher trainees to find courses near them or that interest them for special courses.

Web page and ability to add to calendar and classifieds: YTAA member teacher training courses have their own web pages and the benefits of promoting courses, retreats, workshops and special events on the YTAA website. Member schools also can place job and real estate opportunities in our classifieds section.
